Vaune Martens

Reiki Practitioner

Before coming to Martens Chiropractic and Acupuncture Center, Vaune worked as an Office/Manager for a large corporation. She is a Reiki Practitioner currently studying to be a Reiki Master. Her diverse background also included teaching cosmetology, nail technology, and salon massage.

"I am excited to be able to work in a wellness center where I can apply a combination of my skills and knowledge. Martens Chiropractic and Acupuncture Center is a wonderful part of my life's journey, which focuses on improving mind, body, and spirit and assisting others to do the same. I plan on continuing my studies to include various types of holistic healing methods. I look forward to assisting all patients on their Journey to Wellness."

MAUREEN RENDINA

Reiki Practitioner

My goal as a Reiki Practitioner is to be a caring and gentle provider to those receiving Reiki.  In doing so, it provides an opportunity for the client to make positive changes through body, mind, and spirit.  Reiki is a gentle, natural healing method of laying on of hands which encourages the relaxation of mind and spirit

Maureen Rendina’s background includes 10 years of experience as a Reiki Master Practitioner.  She received her Certification from an Independent Reiki Master Teacher, Rita Vahling.  Maureen is  certified in the USUI System of Reiki Healing.

Maureen worked as a volunteer for "The Centre of New Beginnings" in Palos Park, IL.  She is certified as a Bereavement Companion with over 600 hours of on the job experience.   Maureen welcomes the opportunity to “Walk the Path” with those individuals who would like to begin their own journey with healing.

 Maureen received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, specializing in Applied Behavioral Science.  She is also a certified counselor in Domestic Violence and she has an on going spiritual study through the Atlantis University in Virginia.
