Meet the Doctor

Dr. Kathleen A. Martens earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from one of the nation's leading schools - Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. Additionally, she received her Diplomate in Acupuncture from the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL.

Dr. Martens has dedicated herself to helping people of all ages and activity levels improve and maintain their health through natural means without the use of drugs or surgery. She emphasizes an integrated approach through exercise, nutrition, proper rest, stress relief, acupuncture, and complete chiropractic care.

Dr. Martens stays current on advances in diagnosis and treatment by attending post-graduate conferences and seminars on topics such as Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Orthopedics, Neurology, Sports Injuries, Nutrition, Radiology, and Pediatrics.

Prior to opening up Dr. Kathleen A. Martens', Dr. Martens personally learned from the best in the business. Her mentors, Dr. Jon Sunderlage, who is world renowned and highly respected doctor of chiropractic and licensed acupuncturist, and who personally started her on this journey. Dr. L. Joe Stucky, an internationally recognized doctor, lecturer, motivator, and philosopher, and Dr. Robert Astroth, who is an amazing inspiration and leader in the chiropractic profession. All have been instrumental and have inspired her to be the doctor she is today.
